Keep the group
A WhatsApp group is often the easiest place for mood, photos, and “who brings ice cream?”. That is not a problem.
It gets noisy when the same group has to replace a guest list. Between voice notes and dates, the status is missing: who is coming, who is not, who has not replied.
What the guest list does differently
- One yes or no per name, not three conflicting messages.
- Filters instead of scrolling.
- Seating from the same names, without copying the chat.
Use both
